The City of Calgary only collects personal information during your visit to the Calgary Online Store if you choose to purchase a product, use the Contact Us page, or send us feedback containing a signature line in your email. The City of Calgary neither sells nor licenses any personal information collected from you in the Calgary Online Store to external companies.
The City of Calgary cooperates with law enforcement agencies and will release personal information as required by act or legislation.
Contact Us Page—FOIP Statement
Personal information is collected under the authority of the Freedom of

Customer Information Page—FOIP Statement
If you purchase a product or service, we collect personal information via the Customer Information and the Clickwrap License page (licensed products only). The Clickwrap License page is a legal component of the licensing process which you must complete if you wish to continue your transaction.
Personal information is collected under the authority of the Freedom of
Information and Protection of Privacy Act, R.S.A. 2000, c. F-25, Section
33(c), City of Calgary Bylaw 49M2000, and the Alberta Fair Trade Act, Internet Contract Regulation, Sections 4(1)(a)(xi) and 5(2) . It is used for the purposes of order fulfillment, licensing products, ensuring customer satisfaction, and may also be used to inform you of changes to
the system or new products added to the store (actual customer information page contains a provision to opt-out of this service). Depending on the source of the product you are purchasing, your personal information may be sent to an affiliated organization that The City of Calgary partners with, as identified on the Details page (where you find the "Add to Cart" button) for each product. These organizations will be identified on the bottom left-hand corner of each product's Details page. For example, if you purchase products from the Calgary Parking Authority, your personal information will be sent to them for order fulfillment. Product Specific Forms
Some products and services in the Calgary Online Store require the customer to supply additional information, personal or otherwise, to us before your order can be processed. In these cases a form will appear requesting such information, and a FOIP statement on the form will outline the authority and use of the information.
Payment Information Page
The City of Calgary does not collect credit card information. This page is hosted by an approved third party via a secure payment form and is never visible to The City of Calgary. The City's approved payment vendor, Strategic Profits Inc., uses 128 bit SSL encryption whenever credit card information is being transmitted.
